gamescom 2024 is a wrap. And what a show it was! 

Smashing previous attendance records, the industry buzz was back in full effect as Koelnmesse treated us to cracking games, jaw-dropping stands, and some seriously good vibes. 

Team Fluid had a busy one as always, catching up with friends and clients both old and new, and getting our step counts up around those massive show halls. Here are some of our show highlights.

Fluid’s branding work looked beautiful on-booths.

It’s still a buzz to see our work in the wild, so we loved seeing our Frenzies branding adorning the nDreams stand, and our Deathsprint 66 creative taking pride of place for Sumo Games.

Supersize me: Microsoft’s MASSIVE Xbox stand totally dominates Hall 7.

With Nintendo and Sony absent once again, Microsoft went large, flexing the gaming muscle of Activision, Bethesda, Blizzard and more, with hands-on gameplay including Diablo, Fallout and World of Warcraft.

Long time partner Krafton further strengthened their PUBG Battlegrounds community with the inclusion of an awesome real life shooting range on their packed out stand. We love to see Krafton continue to execute exquisite player-first community marketing programs for their flagship IP.

Porsche x Overwatch 2? That’s a match made in heaven.

Our head of Digital, Lewis, is a massive Overwatch fan, so queueing half an hour for the exclusive collaboration water bottle was a small price to pay - and his dedication was rewarded with a face to face with the one and only D.Va!

Bonjour, aloha, guten tag!

With so many global clients, gamescom gave us the chance to say Hi in person. It was especially lovely to meet the NACON team, for whom we completed trailer work earlier this year. The French software and hardware powerhouse showcased some massive upcoming releases including yet more groundbreaking peripherals. We can’t wait to take them for a test drive. 

Thanks Cologne, you were fabulous as always. Bring on gamescom ‘25!
