Nacon approached Fluid to produce the global launch video for the Revolution 5 Pro Controller – the award winning PlayStation 5 stick-drift killer, built with bleeding-edge technology by Nacon’s expert accessories team.
Our task: Introduce competitive gamers to the inner workings and real-world advantages of this performance-first precision masterpiece. Our primary objective? Showcasing the prowess of features including hall-effect technology and trigger blockers - technologies underpinning a unique Pro controller built to last, built to be customised, and built to win.
Our approach: crisp, sharp geometry, and dynamic technical visuals to mirror and message the precision of Nacon’s innovative designs, breathing life into its groundbreaking inner workings. Showcasing form factor and full customisation, we introduce gamers to the expertise and advantages which will redefine their PlayStation 5 gaming experience.
The details: From receipt of Nacon’s CAD source files, the trailer was produced end-to-end inhouse. Developing bespoke modelling, we created a visual representation of the internal technology behind the controller’s ultra durable hall-effect joysticks, and the competitive advantage of adaptive response trigger blockers. Themed in PlayStation blue (naturally), cubic forms reflect the performance benefits of precision tracking, intuitive sensitivity and ultra fast input times.
The result? Nacon’s Revolution 5 Pro Controller is the company’s best ever hardware launch, with sales outstripping those of all previous accessories.
