But let’s back up a minute: using a UK agency to launch major Japanese and Korean anime brands in global markets? That’s a massive deal. The Licensing team at Fluid have a rare speciality - an intricate understanding of the genre, vast experience, and a passion for anime you just can’t fake. 

That speciality has built us an enviable global reputation in the genre, earned over many years working with huge names including Sega, Bandai-Namco, Capcom, Webtoon, ADK Emotions and many more. And now? Major anime projects are our licensing team’s bread and butter - or should we say, bento box?!

Beyblade X

The team produced a modern tool kit of assets to celebrate the launch of BEYBLADE X, in the franchise’s 25th Anniversary year. Our guide contains a fully comprehensive kit of parts, such as vector character art, badges, comps, Japanese icons and tiles, backgrounds, logo treatments and more. In addition, the team have created visuals and adverts for the BEYBLADE X booth at the huge Las Vegas Licensing Expo 2024.

Fluid's BEYBLADE X creative is fresh, energetic and bold, with a cyberpunk/comic book aesthetic. Using bright, ownable character colours, dynamic grid patterns and Japanese type, Fluid produced a style guide which conveys the thrilling speed of the BEYBLADE X sport, with an elevated, aged-up vibe.

Lore Olympus

Multi-award winning, exquisite, and currently Webtoon’s No. 1 comic, Lore Olympus is a modern retelling of the tumultuous relationship between Persephone and Hades, and it’s had the Fluid team obsessed since its launch. 

Our task? Create a complete style guide, built in house from the ground up - complete with stunning bespoke character art, and a fully comprehensive suite of assets marrying the artist’s original style with a consumer product edge. Authenticity and an obsessive attention to detail were mandatory, so our bespoke art is a true labour of love, peppered with easter eggs and nods to the most hardcore of fans, showcasing our depth of understanding of this epic opus.
