Out with the old, in with the new - 2024 is a wrap! 

Fluid bookended the year with silverware, winning big at the Clios and Global Entertainment Awards, and packed the months between with major projects for global names in game, film, and entertainment. Here’s a small selection of our favourite work from the past 12 months.

BRAND

Highlights of the Brand team’s busy year include bringing the frenetic exuberance of Frenzies to life for long-time client nDreams, covering name ideation, branding and vibrant key art - in stark contrast to the brooding intensity of another favourite; our Cronos: The New Dawn creative.

MOTION

Meanwhile, amongst a ton of other projects, the Motion team were busy producing stunning trailers including a technically detailed, precise and intense tease for French hardware giants Thrustmaster’s ground breaking T598 wheel, and the darkly brutal announcement promo for Deathsprint 66

WEB & DIGITAL 

From websites and online ads to a huge range of Twitch campaigns, drops, events, extensions and integrations, the Digital team continue to produce tech heavy creative projects for clients including Sega, Zynga, Krafton, Lucasfilm, Secret Mode and many more. 

Most recently, Fluid delivered Squad Battle: a high octane, adrenaline-fuelled event with two of PUBG’s biggest creators forming squads, rally their fanbases and battle it out live on Twitch. Team Digital produced a bold campaign identity and promotional assets, then collaborated with Clutch Group on an array of event logistics, including broadcast overlays and live scoreboard overlays to keep viewers engaged throughout the stream.  

Team Digital were also proud to power major projects for Zynga’s free-to-play funfest, Star Wars: Hunters, including the game’s official Discord bot, Arena News feature, and official website starwarshunters.com. The ultimate hub for media and fan engagement, our site hosts game-world news and resources alongside engagement programs including rewards and exclusives for pre-registration and creator program sign ups.

INFLUENCER KITS

Team Packaging were busy as ever, creating exquisite kits for brands including Final Fantasy, PUBG, Destiny 2 and many more - but the highlight came out in Hollywood late last year, as the entertainment industry awarded Fluid a Silver Clio Award for the sublime Lies of P influencer kit - an exceptional showcase of the team’s talent, attention to detail and creative innovation. 

More recently, Packaging’s Score More With Xbox 25 kit launched to universal critical acclaim, as 135 kits distributed to 21 countries, with an estimated reach of 23 million gamers and media value of £2.3 million.

LICENSING

Team Licensing rocked 2024, producing key art, style guides, trend kits and more for the biggest names in sport and entertainment. Their PAC-MAN Shine On creative for long-time client Bandai Namco was a neon-filled masterpiece which chomped the Best Key Art award at the Global Entertainment Awards. 

Licensing’s dedicated in house anime team continues to go from strength to strength, with dream projects in 2024 including work for Lore Olympus, True Beauty and Beyblade X - incorporating a tool kit of bright, thrilling and ownable assets and, in a pinch-me moment, visuals and adverts for the BEYBLADE X booth at the huge Las Vegas Licensing Expo 2024.
