2024 has served up a sporting feast of epic proportions, with Riyadh’s Esports World Cup providing a juicy filling in this summer’s Euros / Paris Olympics sandwich. We’ve worked on some of the biggest esports properties globally so, in a tip of the hat to Riyahd’s World Cup, here’s a look at some of our recent projects, and congrats to all this year’s winners!

VALORANT Champions Tour 2024

Fluid were drafted in to help Riot ready up, as VCT EMEA rolled out a rebellious new look for 2024. With deliverables across Brand and Motion, Licensing and Digital, our projects showcased our full service capacity and esports expertise.

Our delivery included extended brand guidelines, an exhaustive range of assets from logos to key art and beyond, and full creative marketing campaign including 3D maps and a sizzling suite of videos.

PUBG

Our work supporting PUBG esports spans many years, and many projects across multiple departments at Fluid. From the jaw-dropping grace and scale of the PUBG Global Championship trophy, to intricate and tech heavy Twitch Extensions, we’re incredibly proud to be a creative partner and key collaborator in the unstoppable rise of Krafton’s PUBG esports empire.

PUBG GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY DESIGN

Long-time creative collaborators Fluid were selected to design the PUBG Global Championship trophy. Our brief? To create a unique, timeless representation of PUBG esports, which would become the most coveted prize in battle royale.

Huge, stunning and intricate, the finished trophy symbolises the PUBG brand in imposing yet elegant artistic form. Reflecting PUBG’s biggest event with its biggest ever trophy, our intricate design features 32 metal strands interweaving and combining into 16, reflecting the competition structure in gloriously covetable form.

PUBG EUROPE LEAGE TWITCH EXTENSION

Fluid led the initiative to conceptualise, design, develop, and manage a unique tool that would enhance the Twitch experience for avid viewers of PUBG’s Europe League esports tournament. The objective was to offer a deeper sense of reward to fans, while retaining and increasing viewership of the live streams.

We crafted a series of bespoke PUBG emojis, which we naturally dubbed as Pubmojis, adding another layer to PUBG’s typically humorous tone. 

Viewers had the opportunity to acquire tokens by investing time in watching the Twitch stream, then use their hard earned tokens to unlock and cheer with Pubmojis. A live feed showcased a constant stream of viewer Pubmoji reactions, which really amplified the community spirit.

The extension was a huge success with almost 21 million Pubmoji cheers over the six weekends. Winner winner, chicken dinner!

Tundra brand

Launching a new esports team isn’t for the faint hearted - but team Tundra are tougher than the average; blasting into the DOTA 2 scene, Tundra won 2022’s The International in a straight 3-0 win against Team Secret, without losing a single series in the main event. 

Tasked with creating their new identity - from logo to kit, strapline to brand identity, and everything in between - our strong, angular visuals reflect Tundra’s courage and trailblazing fearlessness, capturing their confidence in our strapline: “Own the unknown”. We’re proud to be part of Tundra Esports’ ongoing success!
