Since 2017, Fluid has been serving up stunning, inspired and cohesive 360° creative campaigns for the mighty PUBG, each executed flawlessly by our in-house teams and rolled out across multiple global touchpoints. Working closely with Krafton teams in the US, UK and South Korea, our ongoing collaboration perfectly showcases the success of Fluid’s full-service recipe as we continue to deliver an array of stunning creative across brand, digital, motion, licensing and Influencer kits for the unstoppable juggernaut that is PUBG. Here’s an overview of each department’s favourite projects from the past 7 years.

PUBG Brand Refresh

Our brand team undertook the mammoth task of organising and energising PUBG’s new visual brand identity, producing PUBG Battlegrounds’ new logo, plus an array of refreshed brand visuals, from fonts to icons, merch to apparel and everything in between. We delivered comprehensive global brand guidelines for use by each office, agency and stakeholder worldwide, ensuring impact and consistency across every international creative touchpoint.

Ingame Mastery Medals

Following our work on the new ingame look and feel, Fluid were tasked with the creation of a set of unique, bespoke, tiered ingame medals. Since the project’s inception, we’ve created close to 200 designs - from Sharp Shooter and Lone Wolf, to Nail Biter and Triumphant Chicken Dinner, there’s a medal for every play-style, skill and achievement - each lovingly modeled and rendered by the Fluid team.

Tournaments

It’s no big ask… but could Fluid’s digital team make PUBG’s Partner Program one of the best influencer engagement examples in the world? Categorically yes - and then some. Welcome to a couple of our favourite projects from the last 7 years of collaboration.

PUBG: Squad Battles, our high octane, adrenaline fuelled squad vs squad live stream, saw PUBG legends WackyJacky101 and DanucD battle it out live on Twitch. Our bold branding and promotional assets were a rallying cry to each creator’s fan base to tune in and give support, while our Twitch broadcast overlays and live scoreboard overlays to kept fans engaged and up to date as the action heated up.

PUBG Partners Throwdown, a seasonal tournament exclusively for PUBG Partners, boasted one-of-a-kind rewards, encouraging and supporting each Partner as they rally their respective communities. With detailed, bespoke attention given to each streamer and their community, Throwdown gave PUBG Partners room to enrich their audience with fresh content without trying to recreate an esports atmosphere.

PUBG esports

Fluid were tasked with design and creation of the PUBG Global Championship trophy, the most coveted prize in battle royale. Huge, stunning and intricate, the trophy symbolises both the PUBG brand, and its biggest event with a timeless design featuring 32 intricate strands interweaving and combining into 16, reflecting the competition structure in gloriously covetable form.

Enhancing the Twitch experience for avid viewers of PUBG’s Europe League esports tournament, our PUBG emojis (dubbed PUBMOJIS) rewards viewers, driving retention and increasing livestream viewership. Conceptualised, designed, developed and managed by Fluid’s Digital team, viewers acquire tokens by investing time watching the Twitch stream. Tokens are then traded to unlock and cheer with PUBMOJIS. The result? 21 million 'cheers' over the six weekends. Winner winner, chicken dinner!

Vikendi Reborn Social Activation

Justin Sola, one of Fluid’s most talented artists, created a stunning, one-off, hand illustrated snowboard and sledge for Vikendi Reborn’s community activation. Behind the scenes footage showcased each item's creation, with the bespoke items used as giveaways promoted PUBG’s new winter themed map.

Exclusive, exquisite and innovative - our influencer kits set the standard for bespoke packaging, and the kits created for PUBG are no exception. Exclusive collectables and uniquely presented game information, always exquisitely detailed - each kit brings the game world to life in the hands of PUBG’s biggest influencers.

PUBG Style Guides

A brand as huge as PUBG demands a cohesive, ownable, usable style guide. Underpinning all creative and licensing, the style guide is the central pillar of PUBG’s identity and showcases just what fans have been craving to see within consumer products. Our expert licensing team created a core style guide and fashion kits. The trend kits were a mix of global and also territory specific for future trends targeting a key market for the brand.
